Morgan
Morgan was born in Hamyang, South Gyeongsang Province in Korea. Initially focusing on figure drawings, a visit to their hometown revealed the captivating beauty of the natural landscape they had grown up with. This profound connection to nature ultimately launched Morgan's career as an oil painting artist.
Morgan's work consistently reflects the atmosphere of their Korean hometown, with calm and splendid flower fields being a recurring theme. After years traveling through Tuscany, Italy, Morgan was deeply inspired by both the culture and natural beauty of the region. Influenced by Impressionist masters like Claude Monet, Morgan developed a distinctive style characterized by exceptional sensitivity to light, color, and the soft beauty of natural landscapes. Their famous poppy and flower field paintings showcase this masterful study of Impressionism.
Recently, Morgan explored Taiwan, studying its unique cultures and developing distinctive color palettes and techniques informed by this experience. This blending of Eastern and Western aesthetic influences creates artwork that is genuinely unique and authentic.
Since 2002, Morgan has participated in the New York Art Expo as a member of Art Power. Their dynamic ocean scenes are currently on display at Chicago's Design Center Merchandise Mart (The World Trade Center) on the sixth floor in the prestigious Noure's Gallery of Fine Art. Morgan's work also maintains a long-standing presence in several premier Wisconsin art galleries, most notably Gallery Lake Geneva.
